Ingredients
  

Seafood
  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb crab legs preferably snow or king crab
  • 1 lb mussels cleaned
Vegetables
  • 2 medium red potatoes halved
  • 2 ears corn cut into thirds
  • 1 medium onion quartered
  • 4 cloves garlic smashed
Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tbsp salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp black pepper to taste
  • 0.5 cup butter for serving, melted

Method
 

Prepare the seafood boil
  1. Fill a large pot with water and add the Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a boil.
  2. Add the red potatoes to the boiling water and cook for 10 minutes.
  3. Add the corn, onion, and garlic to the pot and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  4. Add the crab legs and mussels to the pot, cooking for another 5 minutes.
  5. Finally, add the shrimp and cook for 3-5 minutes, or until they are pink and opaque.
  6. Remove the pot from heat and strain the seafood and vegetables.
  7. Serve the seafood boil on a large platter with melted butter on the side.
