Ingredients
  

Salmon Burger Patties
  • 1 lb fresh salmon fillet skin removed, chopped
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs preferably panko
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill chopped
  • 2 tbsp green onion chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
Burger Assembly
  • 4 buns burger buns toasted
  • 1 cup lettuce for topping
  • 1 tomato sliced for topping
  • 1 avocado sliced for topping
  • 4 tbsp tartar sauce for serving

Method
 

Prepare the Salmon Patties
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped salmon, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, dill, green onion, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into 4 equal patties.
Cook the Patties
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grill grates.
  2. Place the salmon patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and golden brown.
Assemble the Burgers
  1. Toast the burger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
  2. Place a salmon patty on each bun, and top with lettuce, tomato, avocado, and tartar sauce. Serve immediately.
