Prepare the Salmon Mixture
- In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped salmon, bread crumbs, beaten egg, dill, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
Form the Patties
- Divide the salmon mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.
Cook the Burgers
- Preheat the grill to medium heat. Cook the salmon patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and have grill marks.
Assemble the Burgers
- Place each salmon patty on a burger bun and top with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and tartar sauce as desired.

These salmon burgers can also be baked in the oven at 375°F for about 15-20 minutes if you prefer not to grill.
