Magic Cookie Bars

Deliciously layered bars with a combination of chocolate, coconut, and nuts, perfect for a sweet treat.

Ingredients
  

Crust
  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
Filling
  • 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped nuts walnuts or pecans
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk 14 oz

Method
 

Prepare the crust
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, and sugar. Mix until well combined.
  2. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a greased 9x13 inch baking pan.
Add the filling
  1. Evenly sprinkle the shredded coconut, chocolate chips, and chopped nuts over the crust.
  2. Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the top, covering all the ingredients.
Bake
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  2. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely in the pan before cutting into bars.

Notes

These bars can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week. They can also be frozen for longer storage.
