  • 1 bunch Fresh Dill Vibrant and fragrant.
  • 1 large Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed for brightness.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Extra virgin for richness.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Cloves Fresh and firm.
  • to taste Salt and Pepper Kosher salt and freshly cracked black pepper.
  • 1 slices Lemon Slices Thin slices for flavor and presentation.
  • 1 tablespoon Butter Unsalted, used sparingly.

Method
 

Prep the Salmon
  1. Gather fresh salmon fillets, rinse under cold water, and pat dry with paper towels. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Mix the Lemon Dill Marinade
  1. In a small bowl, combine the zest and juice of one large lemon with chopped dill, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well blended.
Marinate the Salmon
  1. Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Prepare for Baking
  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and transfer marinated salmon fillets onto the sheet, skin-side down. Sprinkle extra dill and arrange lemon slices on top.
Bake to Perfection
  1. Bake in the preheated oven until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork, about 12-15 minutes.
