  • 100 g coconut cream adds creaminess and richness
  • 50 g honey or maple syrup swap for agave if preferred
  • 50 g brown sugar for a deeper caramel flavor
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract using pure vanilla for best taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine rolled oats, desiccated coconut, and a pinch of salt in a mixing bowl.

  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.
  5. Spread the mixture into a lined baking tray, pressing down firmly.
  6. Bake in the oven for 25 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
  7. Cool in the tray for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
