Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Peel and slice the potatoes into quarter-inch rounds.
- Boil the sliced potatoes in salted water for about 8 minutes until tender. Drain well.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in the heavy cream, onion powder, and garlic powder until the mixture bubbles gently. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Layer the cooked potatoes in a greased baking dish and pour the creamy sauce over them.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil halfway through for a golden finish.
- Garnish with fresh chopped parsley just before serving.
