How to Make Chocolate Cake Cheesecake Truffles
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, and water. Stir until smooth and well blended. Pour this mixture into a greased pan and bake for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool completely, then crumble it into small pieces.
- Beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until smooth and creamy.
- Take portions of the crumbled cake, flatten in your palm, place about half a teaspoon of cheesecake filling, and roll into balls.
- Place the truffles on parchment paper and chill for at least one hour.
- Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth. Dip each truffle in the melted chocolate until fully coated.
