Ingredients
  

Ice Cream Sandwiches
  • 12 pieces ice cream sandwiches any flavor
Whipped Topping
  • 2 cups whipped topping thawed
Chocolate Sauce
  • 1 cup chocolate sauce for drizzling
Sprinkles
  • 1 cup sprinkles for topping
Optional Toppings
  • 1 cup chopped nuts optional
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries optional

Method
 

Assemble the Cake
  1. In a 9x13 inch baking dish, lay down 6 ice cream sandwiches in a single layer.
  2. Spread half of the whipped topping over the ice cream sandwiches evenly.
  3. Drizzle half of the chocolate sauce over the whipped topping.
  4. Repeat the layers with the remaining ice cream sandwiches, whipped topping, and chocolate sauce.
  5. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
Serve
  1. Once firm, remove the cake from the freezer and let it sit for a few minutes.
  2. Cut into squares and serve topped with sprinkles and any optional toppings.
