  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar optional for tanginess

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a saucepan, combine honey and red pepper flakes.
  2. Heat over low heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is warm and well combined, about 5-10 minutes.
  3. If desired, stir in apple cider vinegar for added tang.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  5. Pour the hot honey into a jar and let it cool completely before sealing.
