Preparation
- Gather all your ingredients including ripe bananas, whole wheat flour, honey or maple syrup, eggs, baking soda, and a pinch of salt.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Mixing
- In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth but still textured.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and honey (or maple syrup) with the mashed bananas until well combined.
- Combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture, folding gently until just mixed.
Baking
- Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the banana bread cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
