Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather all your ingredients.
- In a large mixing bowl, melt the butter and let it cool slightly. Add granulated sugar and brown sugar, and blend until smooth.
- Crack in the eggs and add vanilla extract, whisking until well combined.
- In another bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Fold the dry mixture into the wet ingredients.
- Gently mix in the chocolate chips.
Baking
- Pour the brownie batter into a greased baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let cool before cutting into squares.
