Preparation
  1. Gather all ingredients for the dill pickle chicken salad.
  2. If chicken is not cooked, poach or roast it until fully cooked, about 15-20 minutes. Let it cool and shred into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, diced pickles, and chopped fresh dill. Add mayonnaise and lemon juice, then season with salt and pepper.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed, adding more salt or lemon juice if desired.
  5. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
