Ingredients
  

Dressing Base
  • 1 cup mayonnaise preferably full-fat
  • 1 cup buttermilk or milk with vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
Seasonings
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground

Method
 

Prepare the Dressing
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise and buttermilk. Whisk until smooth.
  2. Add white wine vinegar and Dijon mustard, and whisk until fully incorporated.
  3. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  5. Transfer the dressing to a jar with a lid and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
