How to Make Cranberry Orange Cookies
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
  3. Cream softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well mixed.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, folding until just combined.
  6. Fold in dried cranberries and orange zest gently.
  7. Spoon tablespoon-sized dollops of dough onto lined baking sheets, spacing them two inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes, until golden brown around the edges but still soft in the center.
  9. Let them cool on wire racks before indulging.
