How to Make Almond Cherry Muffins
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl until well combined.
  3. Combine the melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla in another bowl, stirring until smooth.
  4. Gently mix the wet and dry ingredients together until just combined; fold in cherries and sliced almonds.
  5. Fill muffin cups two-thirds full with batter and sprinkle extra almonds on top.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown; check doneness with a toothpick.
