  • 8 oz beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz lo mein noodles
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup carrots, julienned
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth or water
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar

Instructions

  1. Slice beef against the grain and chop vegetables uniformly.
  2. Boil water and cook lo mein noodles for 4-5 minutes until al dente; drain and toss with sesame oil.
  3. Heat oil in a wok and sear beef strips for 2-3 minutes; set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add garlic and ginger; sauté for 30 seconds before adding vegetables and stir-frying for another 3-4 minutes.
  5. Combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, cornstarch slurry, and chicken broth in a bowl; pour over veggies.
  6. Add noodles and beef back into the pan; toss everything together until heated through (1-2 minutes).
  7. Serve garnished with green onions.
