  • 12 oz ziti pasta
  • 4 cups fresh spinach
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the ziti pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and fresh spinach; sauté until the spinach is wilted.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese with salt and pepper; stir in half of the mozzarella cheese.
  4. In a large baking dish, layer half of the marinara sauce, followed by ziti, sautéed spinach, and the ricotta mixture. Top with remaining marinara sauce.
  5. Sprinkle the rest of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  6. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
