- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the ziti pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and fresh spinach; sauté until the spinach is wilted.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese with salt and pepper; stir in half of the mozzarella cheese.
- In a large baking dish, layer half of the marinara sauce, followed by ziti, sautéed spinach, and the ricotta mixture. Top with remaining marinara sauce.
- Sprinkle the rest of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
