- 24 Medjool dates
- 1 package (5.2 oz) Boursin cheese (garlic & herb flavor)
- ½ cup shelled pistachios, roughly chopped
- 2 tablespoons honey
- Fresh thyme for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Make a lengthwise slit in each date and remove the pit.
- Fill each date with about 1 teaspoon of Boursin cheese and press slightly closed. Place on a baking sheet.
- Sprinkle chopped pistachios over the dates, pressing gently to adhere.
- Roast for 6-8 minutes until dates are warm and cheese is slightly softened.
- Drizzle with honey and garnish with thyme if desired. Serve warm.
Notes
- Can be prepared up to 4 hours ahead and reheated briefly before serving
- Store leftover dates in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days
- For best results, bring Boursin cheese to room temperature before stuffing
