- 1 cup brown sugar
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch square baking pan and line with parchment paper.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, spices, and salt in a medium bowl.
- In a large bowl, beat eggs and brown sugar until light. Add oil, milk, and vanilla, mixing well.
- Fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined. Pour into prepared pan.
- Bake for 33-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
