A classic Chinese-inspired stir-fry combining tender beef strips with crisp broccoli in a savory garlic-ginger sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 lb flank steak, sliced thin
- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, minced
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- Coat sliced beef with 1 tbsp cornstarch and set aside.
- Mix soy sauce, beef broth, and remaining cornstarch for sauce.
- Heat oil in wok over high heat. Stir-fry beef until browned (2-3 minutes). Remove from wok.
- Add broccoli, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for 3 minutes.
- Return beef to wok, add sauce mixture. Cook until thickened (2-3 minutes).
Notes
- Slice beef against the grain for tenderness
- Blanch broccoli beforehand for perfect texture
- Serve hot over steamed rice
