Description

A perfect blend of crispy chicken tossed in a sweet and spicy bang bang sauce, creating an irresistible combination that’s both creamy and crunchy.


Ingredients

  • pounds chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1½ cups panko breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon each: garlic powder, paprika, salt

For the Bang Bang Sauce:

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Instructions

  • Marinate chicken in buttermilk for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, combine breadcrumbs, flour, and seasonings.
  • Drain chicken and coat in breadcrumb mixture. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Fry chicken pieces for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Whisk sauce ingredients in a bowl. Toss crispy chicken in sauce or serve on the side.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, double-coat the chicken in breadcrumbs
  • Air fryer option: Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 12 minutes
