A quick and savory Chinese-inspired stir-fry combining tender beef strips with crisp broccoli in a rich soy-ginger sauce.

- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions
- Slice beef against the grain, mix with 1 tablespoon soy sauce and cornstarch.
- Heat oil in wok over high heat. Stir-fry beef until browned (2-3 minutes); remove.
- Add broccoli, garlic, ginger; stir-fry 3 minutes.
- Return beef, add remaining soy sauce and oyster sauce. Cook 2 minutes.
Notes
- Freezing beef for 20 minutes makes slicing easier
- Substitute oyster sauce with hoisin for non-seafood option
- Best served over steamed rice
