Description

A festive and creamy dip that combines tangy feta, sweet cranberries, and honey for the perfect holiday appetizer. This crowd-pleasing spread pairs beautifully with crackers, bread, or crudités.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz feta cheese, room temperature
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 3 tablespoons honey, divided
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • Zest of 1 orange

Instructions

  • Combine cranberries, 2 tablespoons honey, and orange juice in a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes until cranberries burst and form a sauce. Let cool completely.
  • In a food processor, blend feta and cream cheese until smooth and fluffy, about 2 minutes. Add remaining honey, olive oil, and half the orange zest. Pulse until well combined.
  • Spread whipped feta mixture in a serving bowl, top with cranberry sauce, fresh thyme leaves, and remaining orange zest.

Notes

  • Make ahead: Whipped feta can be prepared up to 2 days in advance
  • Serve at room temperature for the best spreadable consistency
  • For a spicier variation, add a pinch of red pepper flakes
