Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Beat cream cheese, butter, and sugar until creamy. Add the egg and mix until combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Scoop dough onto the baking sheet, spacing evenly. Bake for 8–10 minutes or until edges are firm.
