Description

Chicken Fried Rice – A quick and satisfying Asian-inspired dish combining fluffy rice, tender chicken, and colorful vegetables.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked rice (day-old)
  • 2 chicken breasts, diced
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a large wok over medium-high heat. Cook diced chicken until golden, remove and set aside.
  • Sauté onion and garlic until fragrant. Add frozen vegetables, cook until tender.
  • Push vegetables to one side, scramble eggs in empty space.
  • Add rice, chicken, and soy sauce. Stir-fry until heated through and well combined.
  • Garnish with green onions and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use cold, day-old rice for best results
  • Customize with your preferred vegetables
  • Add sesame oil for extra flavor
