Ingredients

- 1½ lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Mix soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and brown sugar in a bowl.
- Add steak pieces, marinate 10 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over high heat.
- Sear steak bites 2-3 minutes per side until browned.
- Garnish with green onions and serve hot.
Notes
- For best results, bring steak to room temperature before cooking
- Don’t overcrowd the pan to achieve proper searing
- Can be served over rice or noodles
