Heavenly Tuna Sandwich

Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 cup whole-egg mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons chopped dill
  • 425 g canned tuna in oil drained
  • 5 tablespoons chopped dill pickles
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 3/4 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/3 cup sliced green onions
  • 2 tablespoons pickle juice
  • 8 leaves of butter lettuce
  • Salted butter for spreading
  • 8 slices of bread or 4 rolls

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, mix together the drained tuna and all other filling ingredients until well combined and smooth.
  2. Butter the bread slices, layer with lettuce, generously add the tuna mixture, and top with another slice of bread. Cut and serve!

Notes
