Description

Tender, juicy steak bites and golden potatoes seared in garlic butter create a restaurant-quality meal right at home. This one-pan wonder combines perfectly seasoned meat with crispy potatoes for a satisfying dinner that’s ready in under an hour.


Ingredients

  • pounds sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 pound baby potatoes, halved
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Parboil potatoes in salted water for 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season steak bites with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat. Sear steak bites in batches until browned, about 2-3 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, melt 4 tablespoons butter. Add potatoes and cook until golden, about 8-10 minutes.
  5. Add remaining butter and garlic, cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  6. Return steak to the pan, add rosemary, and toss everything together for 1-2 minutes.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use room temperature steak for better searing
  • Don’t overcrowd the pan when cooking steak
  • For best results, choose sirloin, ribeye, or New York strip steak
