  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in onions and garlic; sauté until onions are translucent (about 3-5 minutes).
  4. Add tomato sauce and zucchini; season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. In a baking dish, layer half the beef-zucchini mixture followed by half the cheese. Repeat layers.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
