Crispy, spicy, and irresistible, these Air Fryer Bang Bang Salmon Bites are a delightful appetizer or main dish. Tender salmon chunks are coated in a flavorful breading, air-fried to perfection, and tossed in a creamy, sweet, and spicy sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon, skinless and cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray

Bang Bang Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha sauce
  • 1 tsp honey

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Season salmon cubes with salt and pepper.
  • Set up three shallow dishes: flour, beaten eggs, and panko mixed with garlic powder and paprika.
  • Dip each salmon cube in flour, then egg, and finally coat with the panko mixture.
  • Place coated salmon bites in the air fryer basket, spray with cooking spray, and cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • In a small bowl, mix the bang bang sauce ingredients until well combined.
  • Toss the crispy salmon bites in the bang bang sauce and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust the spiciness by adding more or less sriracha sauce to the bang bang sauce.
  • Serve with a side of fresh vegetables or your favorite dipping sauce.
